David Emil Joseph de Noter

Painter and etcher. Born in Ghent, active in Brussels since 1840. Worked for Jules Adolphe Goupil (q.v.) in Paris in 1864 and was in Le Vésinet in 1867. Died in Brussels. Son of Jan Baptist de Noter (q.v.), nephew of Pierre François de Noter (q.v.), cousin of Auguste Herman Marie de Noter (q.v.) and father of Raphaël-Marie de Noter.
