The Euphorion Verlag was first founded by Rathenau and Abraham Horodisch in Berlin in 1920 and shut down by the Nazis in 1935. In 1930 Rathenau had also founded the Ernst Rathenau Verlag. Ernst Rathenau re-established his Euphorion Verlag in New York after his arrival in 1938.
