Print publisher, born in Stuttgart. Based in Paris but with branches in London and Dresden. Briefly associated with John Arrowsmith (q.v.) in the late 1820s. In partnership with Goupil between 1829 and 1830, as 'Henry Rittner', then from 1831, as 'Rittner & Goupil'; prints sometimes lettered 'Rittner & Co.', see under Goupil (q.v.).
