A rectangular darning sampler featuring a basket with apples, pomegranates, or similar fruit in the center. On the long sides are four crosses formed of stitches in various colors of thread that create decorative patterns. At the top center and bottom center are three 1" squares formed of stitches in various colors. Above the basket is a small butterfly. The sampler is signed and dated at the bottom center.
