Panel of beaded design in black glass beads of floral and foliate motifs worked on a black machine-made cotton net ground with hexagonal grid. The panel consists of two sections in mirror image shaped to conform to the front of a woman's jacket or dress. The beaded sections are separated from each other by approximately an inch of unbeaded ground net. Prior to conservation mounting, the netting was attached to a crude blue-grey paper. A paper tag with a symbol and writing was attached to the top of the netting. Paper tag is now in object folder. See Inscriptions for contents.

Inscribed: Paper tag at top with printed emblem is griffin with a crown confronting circular disk with a 1 and a wing, the initials "M.B. below." Printed "No." and handwritten "713" plus other handwritten numbers and letters that are not completely legible.
