Small circular needle case consisting of two rigid exterior round segments (cover) covered in red wool, lined in red silk, and adorned with white and clear floral beaded designs. The exterior edges of both covers are also trimmed with a scalloped apron of clear and white beads. Three "leaves" or "pages" of white wool bound in red silk are found between the two covers. Numerous metal needles are pinned onto the three wool pages and a gilded bodkin is held with elastic thread on the inside of one of the covers. Red silk ribbons tie the two covers of the needlecase together and are also attached on the opposite side, perhaps as a closing.
