Based on Manet's painting, Berthe Morisot with a Bouquet of Violets, 1872 (Musée d'Orsay; Rouart and Wildenstein 179). Printed in brown-black ink. From the 1894 Dumont edition; according to Harris, "Dumont published an edition of 30 impressions of...30 plates, printed in bistre ink on blue-green laid papers."
