Based on Manet's painting, Berthe Morisot with a Bouquet of Violets, 1872 (Musée d'Orsay; Rouart and Wildenstein 179). According to Fisher, this print is a masked impression of the second state where "the inscription has been masked so that letters on the stone would not print."
