Red slipped surface which has been smudged black. The vessel has been burnished to a low gloss. Fire clouds visible on exterior base. The exterior rim is incised and painted with post-fire pigment to show three feline figures. The noses on the faces are modeled. Painted and incised. Red, yellow, and green post-fire pigments.
