Photograph commissioned by Herbert Katzenberg. It shows 707 North Calvert Street with the Diocese across the street. The construction of this building began in 1959 and was completed in 1960. 707 North Calvert Street was owned by Jefferson Steel & Supply Company and leased to the Internal Revenue Service before it was purchased by Herbert M. Katzenberg in 1971; since 1992 it has been owned by the State Highway Administration (purchased in 1992). In the foreground is an abstract, copper sculpture/fountain by Thomas Kennedy (?) that is no longer extant.
