Heavily corroded metal blade with remains of a woven textile fused with the encrusted patina. A thin and wide demi-lune blade with a rectangular flange, the thickness tapering from 1/16" at the blade to 1 1/4" at the butt. A large hole through the lower part of the flange (probably for attachment to a handle).
