Long shaft in wood with blade in the shape of a bird's head with triangular cutout eye from which extends a ridge to the point delineating a beak, and a short pointed spur on the back of the neck; top and bottom of shaft is encircled with wire; brass tack ornamentation at four points along the shaft; and a metal washer nailed to the bottom.
