Plain classical urn-shape on circular pedestal and square base. Hinged fitted domed lid has urn finial. Scrolled handle. Finely beaded border at rim, knop and pedestal. Monogram is badly worn, may possibly be 'JMS'

Inscribed: RECTO: Engraved on front of pitcher "FJS [?]"

Markings: Marked on base of pitcher "G. Aiken" in script
