Portrait of the author, Edmond de Goncourt, French, 1822-1896. Reduced reproduction of Bracquemond's etching (Beraldi 54; I.F.F. 386) - see 1983.76 and 1997.19. Lucas apparently owned a copy of the large etching but donated it to the Grolier Club in the 1890s.
