Head of figurine made of solid, sandy clay. Fleshy face, modeled features, drilled eye and mouth openings. Mouth slightly ajar, exposed gums. Face is covered with a thick greyish white slip reminiscent of Las Bocas or Morelos style Olmec figures. Head is noticably deformed. Compact, unpainted cap. Small, drilled ear spools. Ears are shown and they have been painted red or rubbed with cinnabar.
