Small youth's head made from solid, sandy clay. Now eroded surface may have once been slipped. Facial features are modeled, appliqued, and drilled. Small cap with neck flap attached to the head as applique but a separation exists at the forehead where the clay did not adhere. Small applique dots attached to the cap. May be representative of dancer or athlete's attire.
