A wind-in tape measure in the shape of a flat or smoothing iron with a red agate stone or glass set into the handle. The cotton (?) measuring tape is wound in with a handle found on the end of the iron and is marked in inches. The metal is possibly tin; the stone, agate or glass; the cloth, cotton.
