A Fukuro Obi of complex woven silk depicting styliized design implying a peacock tail in pastel colors on white ground with silver.threads used as accents. This obi is reversible in that the same material is folded along the entire length to create a wide, stiff, formal band. The reverse, however, includes only the line of the feathers found on the front and a small chevron design. One section of the obi is without pattern. .
