Object Number 1996.48.4508
An enlarged photomechanical reproduction (procédé Amand-Durand) of Daubigny's etching, Le Moine (Delteil 1). Melot states that there is a related drawing in Baltimore, however it is unclear to which work he refers. There are only two drawings by Daubigny in the BMA collection - Study for the etching 'La Tonnelle' (1996.48.4510) and Landscape (1974.28). The latter does not resemble the landscape found in Le Moine.
The Baltimore Museum of Art by purchase, 1996; The Maryland Institute College of Art, through Henry Walters, Baltimore, by bequest 1909; from George A. Lucas, Paris
