Seated lion on rocky terrain with head bent downward and turned to proper left, snarling mouth open, proper right forepaw resting on ground, and proper left forepaw with claws extended raised above a serpent that is coiled on the ground beneath the lion. The lion's tail is slightly raised and curled to its proper right. The serpent's head is raised. Base: irregular oval ground with rim.
