a.Octagonal wooden sewing box with carved or applied design on top. Inside features mirror glass inside top and purple velvet tray holding sewing and embroidery implements. Contains: b. Scissors, metal with twist in handle, c. Scissors with mother of pearl handles, metal (steel?)blades d. Perfume bottle, glass with metal lid e. Thimble, mother of pearl f. Paper knife, mother of pearl (broken on delivery) (enameled pansy decoration g. Needle case, Mother of pearl with metal trim h. Stilleto with mother of pearl handle and metal (steel ) spke I Tweezers, metal blue ribbon once attached to slit in tray. Missing mother of pearl silk wiknders.bu thave two depressions where they would have been placed lined with mirror glass. All but one piece is missing the enameled pansy plaque that was the symbol of the Palais Royal, but theother implements have areas where the plaques would have been.
