Large scale printed floral on cotton percale inspired by French “Indiennes” of the late 18th century and Indian printed/painted cottons of the 17th century, but in larger scale. Yellow ground with oriental styled floral designs printed with linear outlines and “smudged” interiors to simulate block printed designs. Colors include several shades including red/rose, green, blue-gray, lavender, natural undyed white of fabric on yellow ground.
