The length of fabric is light taupe Chinese plain-woven heavy silk, with no decoration. The side selvages have light green silk woven into them and the top selvage has a woven double line of the same green silk. The bottom edge is rough cut.

Inscribed: Top selvage and bottom edge are both stamped with Chinese characters in black, possibly manufacturer information.
