Bonenfant: Art dealer and print publisher in Paris. From Antwerp family of art dealers; established in 1631 in partnership with the bankers Lamague-Mascranni in Paris a firm for publishing prints, which was dissolved in 1637. du Bourg & Szanto give a complete catalogue of the firm's productions (always lettered 'Bonenfant exc.'), which were of very high quality Antwerp engravings and etchings aimed at the French market, for which a royal privilege was obtained in 1635.
