Mei-ping form vase, having a small mouth with everted lip, rounded shoulder which tapers gradually to an everted foot. The vase is decorated with a crane standing on one leg beneath a large, knarled pine tree which is surrounded by rocks. The crane is gazing at the full moon overhead. The decoration is painted in a very dark, rich inky cobalt.
