This hand-sized standing figure may represent a late Bahía jaguar effigy. In later times, La Tolita/Tumaco artists sculpted these jaguar forms as lunging, excited figures. Mold-made from a pale orange clay, arms are broken at the shoulder. Face bears circular mask/headdress. Elongated tongue.
