Hollow figure of buff-red clay with applique, incised details, and remnant post-fire paint. The figure is supported on a clay base. A small firing hole is found beneath the cap in the back. The figure's attire consists of a yellow horned cap, shoulder fringe, and loincloth -- clothing associated with musicians. A nose ornament covers the mouth; hoop earrings in blue and yellow pigments are indicated. His right arm is held inward; the hand has broken off. His left arm is held upward, holding a scroll-like object that may be a musical instrument. The surface is burned at the loincloth and the right arm. In addition to the hand, the feet have broken off.
