Credit Line Anonymous Gift
Object Number 2002.130
This aerodynamically designed knife is perfectly balanced around a central point of gravity so that it might be thrown and reach its target with precision. The rounded “blades” of this knife, however, reflect the aesthetic sensibility of its artist suggesting that the knife functioned primarily to enhance its owner’s prestige and wealth.
