Villet apparently did not view this impression in the Lucas Collection; in his entry he states "the work appeared on the blue paper wraps accompanying the 1869 edition of 12 Croquis and also appeared on the same blue paper wraps in later editions. No examples of the etching have been seen except as used on the wraps."
