A hound (braque) and a spaniel (épagneul) pointing to two pheasants. The hound is on the proper left, and slightly ahead of the spaniel that is on the proper right. Behind and between the two dogs is a small slid stump. The pheasants are looking away from the dogs on the edge of the ground/base. The modeling and chasing are somewhat lacking in detail and clarity (when compared to BMA S 1972.4.24). Base: oval natural ground with rim.
