Pius V holding a crucifix which comes alive in his hands as the feet detach from the cross. Engraved at Rome 1790 for Count Fiorenzi di Osimo, who owned the original miraculous crucifix. Listed as drawn after "L.A." in Palmerini, Halsey, and Le Blanc, perhaps referring to Louis Athalin, famed contemporary of Raphael Morghen.
The Baltimore Museum of Art by gift, 1946; T. Harrison Garrett (L. 2435b), by purchase; James L. Claghorn (L. 555c) by purchase.
