An intaglio construction combines two sheets of paper, using double-sided adhesive, while ink is simultaneously being applied and run through the press. The sheet of Kozo is cut (shaped) in roughly the area of the printed design, although ink extends beyond the adhered, shaped kozo paper onto the Meirat Velasquez secondary paper sheet
