Waisted vessel in the form of a dignitary head with headdress. The lower portion of the vessel shows a painted face and modeled nose. Red eye markings in the shape of inverted steps, black goatee, double-discoid earrings with tassels, white zig-zag head band. Reverse shows white sling. Headdress area divided into two design registers: lip band of stepped fret spirals and a middle band of repeating stylized face masks in red.
Inscribed: Red/white label on interior rim "Nazca culture 1000 yrs old"
