Lion standing with proper right fore and hind legs moving forward. The lion's mouth is open, and its tail is curled downward with the bushy tip almost touching the proper left hind leg. Physical details and texture are clearly articulated. Base: rectangular flat ground with rim mounted on an additional high bronze base etched with a swag design that is open at front end (BMA 2004.5, Tigre qui march that has same base, but different patina).
