A circle of stiff white cotton buckram with needlepoint worked in brightly dyed synthetic yarns. The circle is divided into four quadrants with the same design worked in different color variations. The center circle is divided into four sections, one part lt. pink, one part purple or red violet and two mirror image quadrants in lavender with orange yarns. This is surrounded with a curved edge diamond of blues and purples and placed on a circular field of black. Additional concentric curved edge diamonds are formed in colors. Outside of the largest diamond a wide cross is formed. Entwined with the cross is a curved cornered square. The gradations of color within the four quadrants in the circle suggest three dimensionality. The back is covered in loose threads. There is no lining.
