One of fifteen small weaving samples from the studio of Dorothy Liebes. This example is a combination of twill and sateen weave with a rough texture and all-over pattern. Tan and subdued greens predominate with flat and wrapped metallic threads throughout. The sample was originally attached to a white cardboard mount with the number of the design and name of the designer written by hand. (Removed for conservation reasons but saved in Textile Department.)
