Printed in brown-black ink. NYPL has this catalogued as Guiffrey 34 [bis], but the published catalogue does not have a "bis" entry; perhaps it refers to a manuscript annotation in the NYPL copy of Guiffrey's catalogue (need to check the Lucas copy of the catalogue in the Library to see if it also has such an annotation).
One of a group of prints that were attributed to Jacque, but were done by Subercaze; these prints remain filed under Jacque.
The Baltimore Museum of Art by purchase, 1996; The Maryland Institute College of Art, through Henry Walters, Baltimore, by bequest 1909; from George A. Lucas, Paris
Inscribed: Signed in plate: lower left "Ch. Jacque inv. DEL." Inscribed in pencil: verso, in Lucas' hand "Guillon", "not catalogued", "have some[?] proofs of this / with Subercaze sculpt / in right hand corner"
