The cape is ornamented with appliquéd flowers of the same grey blue wool with embroidered centers. Embroidered scrolls fill areas between the appliquéd floral motifs in patterns reminicent of Art Nouveau designs. Three lines of soutache braid surround the outer edge of the hem and side edges. Another three lines of soutache run parallel to the hem approximately 6" above the first three. Between the two multiple lines of soutache run embroidered scrolls. The cape is fully lined in grey silk satin. The collar is trimmed in wool fur (now deteriorated). Closures consist of hook and eye fastenings.
