IT LOOKS A BIT SLOPPY... IF THERE IS STILL SOME TIME, WHY DON'T YOU ASK THE SCULPTOR TO ADD ON YOUR STAND-UP COLLAR.

PARISIANS IN THE COUNTRYSIDE. - AREN'T WE A BIT TOO AUDACIOUS TO GET INVOLVED IN SUCH AN ADVENTURE.... DOWN THERE I SEE SOMETHING RATHER DISTURBING... I AM NOT SURE WHETHER IT IS WISE TO ADVANCE ANY FURTHER. - BUT I THINK THESE ARE SIMPLY MILLSTONES... - AND I WAS AFRAID THESE MIGHT BE THE HUTS OF SOME SAVAGES!

I am not sure whether it is wise to advance any further. - But I think these are simply millstones... - And I was afraid these might be the huts of some savages!

THE SOURCE OF THE SEINE IS THE COTE D'OR, AND IT EMPTIES INTO THE CHANNEL. ON ITS WAY IT TRAVERSES PARIS WHERE THE INHABITANTS ESCAPE THE SUMMER’S HEAT AND TRY TO FIND FRESHNESS AND PURITY IN THIS RIVER.

The source of the Seine is the Cote d'Or, and it empties into the Channel. On its way it traverses Paris where the inhabitants escape the summer’s heat and try to find freshness and purity in this river.
