The curtain panel is constructed of a textured, granite or pebble weave fabric with cotton warp and rayon and/or silk weft, flecked with thin gold metallic strip wefts. The fabric is screen printed with an abstract design entitled 'Abstract-Fleura' in black, red, green, and chartreuse on a gold-flecked beige background. This design consists of groups of very abstract shapes within intertwining meandering lines barely suggesting plants. These groups are set against a background of meandering lines printed in grey. The resulting pattern is a very orderly design. The vertical repeat is 14-3/4 in. high; the horizontal repeat is 30-1/2 in. wide. The top edge of the curtain is sewn to a synthetic lining, folded back 4-1/4", and machine sewn. The right and left selvages are sewn to the lining, folded back 2-1/4", and machine sewn. The bottom edge is folded back 2-1/2" and machine sewn, as is the synthetic lining at the bottom edge. All sewing is with taupe colored cotton or nylon thread.
