For general shape: Sawing-for the larger relief (beak of bird on top of head; chin of person 1/3 of the way down). Drilling: biconically to make suspension holes. Incising-linear details (hands, bird feet). Septum on back indicating this is sawn from a full jade celt (Bryan Cockrell, Dumbarton Oaks, 12/11/2015).
