The bolt of fabric is light brown Chinese raw silk gauze with double dragon and flaming pearl roundels. The roundels measure 8' in diameter and are arranged alternating two across and three across (only halves of the outside roundels fit on three across). The last 20' of each end of the fabric before the woven inscription is plain with six (two sets of three across) small roundels (motif indecipherable). All edges are selvages, sides and ends.
The Baltimore Museum of Art by gift, 2000; Mr. and Mrs. Laurance Roberts, Baltimore

Inscribed: Top and bottom selvages are woven with Chinese characters, possibly manufacturer information.
