Length of plain-woven linen printed in repeating designs of bold, large-scale flowers, foliage, and butterflies in shades of green, red, blue, violet, off-white, yellow, and orange on a deep, dark red ground. The florals are presented in individual sprigs, each separated from the one next to it as in mille-fleurs tapestries, which may have partially inspired the design. An unprinted selvage 3/4" wide is found on both sides, the one inscribed with the name and designer of the textile and origin. The fabric is somewhat coarsely woven. The top and bottom edges are cut and unfinished.
