Carved wood with variegated reddish to dark brown stains, blue pigment on coiffure. A necklace of tiny beads. Naturalistic in style, the young woman kneels on a circular base and holds a large bowl on her lap; she wears a horizontally striped wrap-around skirt tied with a sash around her waist, necklaces, bracelets, and anklets. Her face set in a benign expression, three scarification marks on each cheek and forehead. Her hair is tightly plaited and braided. There are holes in her eyes that once held metal.
