Along with the Vase with Flowers window panel, Bowl with Fruit and Flowers originally flanked the larger Flower, Fish, and Fruit window in the Garrett-Thomas mansion at 101 West Monument Street in Baltimore. When hung as a trio, the windows read as a continuous composition. These windows were made in about 1885, the year that Tiffany incorporated his own Tiffany Glass Company. It underwent several name changes, becoming Tiffany Studios after 1902.
