Silver cream pot made by Simon Wedge, Sr., c. 1810. Part of a 5-piece coffee/tea set. This cream pot's ovoid shape has a silver Empire-style bracket handle and a curved high spout. It is raised upon an oval stepped pedestal foot. The body is ornamented with deep gadrooning. One side is engraved 'IAR' in a beautiful foliate script.
