A small rectangular damask-woven table scarf of dark creme-colored linen wiith a monochrome field pattern of flowers, vines, grapes, leaves and hummingbirds. At each end of the table scarf is a two-tone woven border in gold-colored and natural linen. These borders consist of two thin outer stripes, each approx. 5/8 in. wide patterned with a quatrefoil within a circle, and a broader stripe 3 in. wide patterned with a zigzagging stripe woven in a damask pattern of birds and flowers in gold on natural ground. In the triangular spaces outside of this zigzag pattern are designs in natural on a gold ground. The long sides also feature a narrow decorative monotone damask pattern within one inch of the selvages. A 4-1/2 in. fringe finishes both short sides. The fibers appear very lustrous and somewhat irregular.
