One of 23 figures grouped as a troop of ritual dancers. This example shows a musician grasping rattles in each hand, held before his chest. The figure is attired in a feather loincloth; beaded bracelets adorn his upper arms. The performer's headdress consists of a helmet and mask. The face of the mask resembles a bivalve shell (clam, mussel?) as shown on 1999.184.19. It is framed by the rays of a solar disk. From the back of the headdress emerge two spikes.
