A copy after Adriaan Lommelin's engraving of Frederik de Marselaer, after Van Dyck, from the Iconography series (see 1946.112.15676). In this copy the sitter appears in reverse, and an oval frame and pedestal have beed added to the composition. In addition, the inscription has been changed.
