This impression appears to be between Kennedy's described states of vii and viii: it lacks the new linework in the upper right corner of the gateway and the additional leaves or flowers over the head of the woman with the baby, but includes the new work on the shrubbery at right. According to Glasgow, "pencil butterfly of 1885/1887"
